Antonia Bucklitsch is a German photographer based in Montreal, working in landscape, outdoor and sport.

Skiing shaped her eye before photography did. Years on snow taught her to read terrain, light and timing, and left her at home in the conditions where most of her work now happens: winter, altitude, early mornings, weather that turns.

She works where it is cold. Japan, Iceland, Norway and the Alps make up the bulk of her recent work, alongside ongoing series on skiing, running and cycling. She shoots digital, aerial and film, and publishes her own calendars each year.
